Guide To Tonkinese Registration

  © Linda Vousden

This guide is relevant to the current GCCF Tonkinese Registration Policy. It assumes that your Tonkinese was born after 2005, if you wish to check registration for a cat born before this please e-mail me with the pedigree details.

The guide works by step-by-step elimination. Start with Step 1 and read the questions carefully, the green and red answers explain your next step. Continue until you reach the step that matches your cat. If you don't find it, try again or contact me for help. If you believe the GCCF office has incorrectly registered your cat I'd be happy to take a look at it for you. We know that several cats that have been mis-registered.

Key: Burmese Colour Restriction (BCR, aka solid), Tonkinese Colour Restriction (TCR, aka mink), ColourPointed Pattern (CPP, aka  pointed)

If the answer is NO to ALL of these conditions
